A twist on the beloved turmeric latte, we have created a warming drink to bring sunshine and brightness into your day. Yellow has long been associated with joy through its direct link to the source of all life – the sun. Happiness in a cup!

There is a rich history on the impact that plants have on our wellbeing; saffron and turmeric are both well-loved examples of this. They have been utilised for generations due to their specific impact on mood. The following ingredients have all been used to give an extra boost.
- Turmeric for all its anti-inflammatory components, but also for its pop of colour.
- Cacao butter is included in Sunshine Latte to increase healthy fats, which are associated with boosting mood.
- The nuts are responsible for providing tryptophan to the body – a key nutrient in the production of serotonin, one of the most well-known neurotransmitters connected to mood.
This drink is a sure way to feel good.
Sunshine Latte
Happiness is better shared, so we’ve made this recipe big enough for two. Share a cup with a loved one, watch the first light come up over the horizon and bask in the morning sun.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- ½ cup cashews
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- Pinch of black pepper
- Pinch of salt
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbsp almond butter (or other), optional
- Pinch of saffron, optional
- 1 cacao butter nib (5g), optional
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup, optional
Directions
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Transfer to a small saucepan and bring to a low simmer. Add vanilla once removed from heat.
Pour into individual cups and enjoy.
