Then & Now: Embracing the Past, Envisioning the Future
In just a decade, so much has changed—yet our mission remains the same: to remember the everyday magic that surrounds us. One thing I’ve noticed over this period is that, culturally, we’ve grown more open to exploring altered states of consciousness through inner and outer practices. We’ve made some gains. Since Aro Ha first opened its doors, youth binge drinking has dropped by over 30%, and declines can be seen in substance abuse, early unprotected sex, and risky driving.Yet, as of 2024, mental health tops the list of global health concerns, just ahead of cancer and stress. Clearly, the world is in even greater need of an inner light, making it more important than ever to return to the essentials of wellbeing—to unplug and invest our time in what truly brings us home to our true selves.Hearing guests say, “I don’t think I’ve ever experienced myself like this,” or “My cup is full… actually, overflowing!” never ceases to thrill me.
Forward Focus
Having welcomed over 7,000 guests to Aro Ha, we’re only just getting started. We’re evolving our adventures to support you in ways that weren’t even possible a decade ago. We plan to continue crafting industry-leading, tailored experiences by incorporating the latest biofeedback, testing, and wearables—all while grounding ourselves in timeless wisdom traditions. Our intention is to create ripples of change in our human family so that the entire world orients its path toward the highest good. It’s a bold ambition, so I’d better get back to work.
Here’s to the next ten years—and beyond!
